Moving and Inspirational Story

Limerick August 22nd 2011 - Last week the Limerick Leader (20/8/2011) carried a moving and inspirational story of a blind student Josh Stundon who did very well in his Leaving Cert exams. His results brought him the good news that he had obtained 2 A’s and 3 B’s. There was a lovely picture of him on the front page of the Leader with his proud parents Donal and Mary.

Josh is also an accomplished musician on the piano and a whizz kid on the skateboards, having received special training in the U.S. He is a regular visitor to our church with his grandmother.

Recently he has become independent enough to cut the apron strings! His gift of faith has enabled him to rise above his disability and to discover his many abilities and vision for the future. Josh has got word that he had enough points for his chosen option of law at the University of Limerick and he is taking up the offer!
